Events

Various organisations within West Horndon regularly publicise local events taking place within the village.  Recent and upcoming events are detailed below:

Christmas Tree Lighting Event - Village Hall - Sunday 7th December 4pm

Come and join us for our annual Christmas tree lighting event at West Horndon Village Hall on Sunday 7th December at 4pm.  WHPC will be supplying warm mince pies, sausage rolls and hot mulled wine to help start the festive spirit in the village.  There is no admission charge, and refreshments are complementary.  We are looking for any donations you are able to provide however, with our chosen charity being the Salvation Army who will be playing at the event.  There will also be a raffle with all money raised also going to charity.  Do spread the word so we can get as much of our community together for this event, which will also feature our local school children singing.

Children's Craft Party - Village Hall - Saturday 20th December

Hope Crowley is holding a Children's Craft Party in West Horndon Village Hall on Saturday 20th December, 10am to 1pm in the main room downstairs.  Entry is £3 per child, with entry fee covering as many crafts as they want to do.  There will also be refreshments on sale for the adults and children to buy.  All proceeds will go to Marie Curie Cancer Care.  All welcome, even adults without kids - feel free to come along for a cake and drink and a catch up with your friends.
